Darrell "Doc" Kemp is a former Hitting Coach with the Baseball Program. A Standout ex-Professional Player, Scout and Coach Darrell has 2 Brock Educated Children.

Brock Baseball Legend: Chris "Petes" Peters
Chris "Petes" Peters was one of four first basemen on the original 1995 team. He lives in Florida with his amazing family and is a former firefighter.

Brock Baseball Legend: Ted "The Pope" Gendron
Brock Baseball Co-Founder and Pitcher Ted "The Pope" Gendron currently is a proud father of two and is President and CEO of Kidspired Media, a company that helps youth sports teams through sponsorship.

Brock Baseball Legend: Jeff Lounsbury
Former Brock Baseball Head Coach Jeff Lounsbury helmed the program for two decades and was the kind of leader the program needed to thrive. He has battled Colon Cancer and is the current GM of the IBL Toronto Maple Leafs Baseball Team.

Brock Baseball Legend: Wayne Briggs-Jude
Brock Baseball Legendary Coach Wayne Briggs-Jude was with the program from the beginning and stayed to influence scores of players. Wayne is happily retired, working at a gym and attending many World Series games. He also is still actively umpiring.

Brock Baseball Legend: Todd Nie
Brock Baseball Alumnus and Pitcher Todd Nie is a study in courage. He overcame a challenging accident with the loss of sight in his right eye sustained on the ballfield in 1995 to lead people as a principal, educator and amazing father and husband.

Brock Baseball Alumnus and former infielder Ryan Thompson has four (yes) Children and has carved out a successful career in Fire Services in the Burlington area.

Brock Baseball Legend: Mark "Kas" Kasoian
Brock Baseball Alumnus and Infielder Mark Kasoian is thriving as the operator of the Keg Restaurant location in Oakville. Blessed to be surrounded by family and happiness Mark is enjoying Red Wine, Travel and Baseball.

Brock Baseball Legend: Rob "Guts" Green
Brock Alumnus and former Pitcher Rob Green is once again leading by example and courage as CEO of Green Benefits Group. Leading the way in corporate benefit plans he also takes charge in charitable endeavors and in being a father to two daughters and a loving husband.

Brock Baseball Legend: Jess Dixon
Brock Baseball Hall of Fame First Baseman Jess Dixon has translated a career of leadership and learning into life in Windsor leading their Sport Management faculty. He also plays a mean game of golf.

Brock Baseball Legend: Joel Garton
Brock Baseball Alumnus Joel Garton is still pitching away as part of being a highly sought after Financial Planner. Joel has a ton of stories regarding his time in the US after Brock and still is active in coaching basketball.

Brock Baseball Legend: Chris "Grooch" Gruchy
Brock Baseball Alumnus Chris "Grooch" Gruchy has had a distinguished career as an educator and as a dedicated father. He is currently battling his health while being very involved as a family man and Durham Region resident.

Brock Baseball Legend: Mike "Polecat" Poelman
Brock Baseball Hall of Fame Pitcher and Co-Founder Mike "Polecat" Poelman has two University aged Daughters who are excelling and runs an event and media sponsorship company called the Ascent. He is tied to both the Brock Baseball Program and former McMaster Second Baseman Brad Reeson was his best friend. Mike won the CIBA Most Valuable Pitcher award for CIBA in 1995.

Brock Baseball Legend: Larry Houston
Brock Baseball Alumnus and Second Baseman Larry Houston was part of Brock's first Brother combination with fraternal twin Daryl. Larry is a dedicated hockey and baseball coach and resides in Markham with his family. He played his best ball at Brock University and finished up in Senior Baseball with the Kendal Eagles.

Brock Baseball Legend: Matt King
Former Catcher and Brock Alumnus Matt King is living the dream. Blessed with a family growing up near his rural hometown of St. Mary's Ontario, Matt is putting his coaching and grasp of high performance to good use as he is involved with the Thames Valley School Board's Athletic performer education specialty. Matt definitely has coached extensively and is still sporting bruises from the pitches in the dirt from the Brock staff.

Brock Alumnus and Infielder Mike Caruso is now a construction manager based out of his hometown of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Ever the Badger Ambassador for Northern Ontario, he can be caught up on the links with a variety of friends from the Brock Baseball Alumni.

Brock Baseball Alumnus and former infielder Bryan Simmons has really hit a home run in his post Brock life. Coaching hockey, teaching at a private school and having tales of Norway and parenthood with a 2 and a 4 year old, Bryan really is leading a courageous and self aware life.

Brock Baseball Hall of Fame Coach Mike McRae is currently making a difference coaching at NCAA Division One William and Mary. Located close to the ocean, Coach McRae continues to trailblaze with innovations like the 3 Man Pitching Krew and absolute game changing coach at former stops Canisius and Niagara, Coach McRae is bringing his mix of innovation, discipline and organization to W&M. Brock Baseball Alumnus and former Pitcher Brad Tupper is continuing to make his hometown of Burlington, Ontario proud. Working in the finance sector for one of Canada's chartered banks, Brad has done a little coaching and is happily living his best life.

Brock Baseball Alumnus and left handed pitcher Dan Pino is keeping his calm, cool and workmanlinke attitude at the fore as a key communications conduit for Golf Canada. A dedicated family man, Dan is living in Guelph.

Brock Baseball Alumnus and former Outfielder Daryl 'Drl' Houston is living the life as a leader in the CPG / Retail industry and living in Victoria, BC. Happily raising three children, Daryl and his wife enjoy outdoor adventures like hiking.

The 1997 CIBA National Championship winning McMaster Marauders were inducted into the School's Hall of Fame.

McMaster Baseball Legend: Bill "Newts" Newton
McMaster Baseball Hall of Fame Catcher and Coach Bill "Newts" Newton is enjoying his varied career in law enforcement and raising two children with his wife Lisa. Bill has long been one of the leaders of the McMaster program and is living in Whitby, Ontario.

McMaster Baseball Legend: Dr. Scott Hughes
McMaster Hall of Fame first baseman and pitcher Dr. Scott Hughes is helping athletes recover from injury as an orthodpedic surgeon in Kamloops, BC. He is raising two boys with his wife clearly rocking the long hair.

McMaster Baseball Legend: Steve McGrail
McMaster Alumnus and infielder Steve McGrail is continuing to be a difference maker as an educator, coach and charitable as the Toronto representative for great accomplishments in memory of his daughter.

McMaster Baseball Legend: Todd "Hoot" Huether
McMaster Baseball Alumnus Todd "Hoot" Huether continues to impact the game in 2024 having appeared in an OBA video for parents and coaches due to his involvement in the game. Residing in Brampton Hoot is a dedicated RN working at Mount Sinai hospital.

McMaster Baseball Legend: Brett "Meat" Gibson (with Don Graves)
McMaster Alumnus and Pitcher Brett "Meat" Gibson is working in logistics and transport in the Kingston Area where he is making a difference coaching and raising a family. After finishing up at Mac, Brett played for the Intercounty squad in Brantford and is still connected to several McMaster Baseball players.

McMaster Baseball Legend: Doug Lunney
McMaster Hall of Fame Pitcher, Infielder and CIBA Pitching Award Winner Doug Lunney is a coach, player and leader in his hometown of Newmarket and holds up the reputation of generations of Lunneys and their excellence. His son Reid attends Brock University as a Baseball Player and Daughter Abby tearing it up with Team Canada and Nipissing University.

Proof that bitter enemies make great friends, Brock Baseball Hall of Famer Michael Poelman's Daughter was the defence Partner of McMaster University Hall of Famer Bill Newton's daughter Ella. Championship team, must run in the families.

McMaster Baseball Legend: Adam Duskocy
McMaster Baseball Hall of Fame Pitcher and Infielder Adam Duskocy is now bringing his passions and skills to the forefront of life in Connecticut. Adam has a thriving Hockey training and coaching business as well as enjoying life as a Environmental Consultant with his wife and children who are now in and approaching college. A Lucan native, Adam exemplifies the team first approach at McMaster.

McMaster Baseball Legend: Michael Grilli
McMaster Hall of Fame Catcher, Pitcher and infielder Michael Grilli continues to play with passion and constant reinvention pitching despite hitting the first two batters he ever faced. An educator and coach in the Hamilton School Board, Mike followed the advice of his Coach Don Graves and has a wonderful career in education and a family that is busy with two daughters.

McMaster Hall of Fame Pitcher and former team executive Brad Armes is now running his own financial planning business, successfully moved back to hometown Nanticoke in southwestern Ontario.

McMaster Baseball Legend: Doug Lunney and Daughter Abby Lunney
McMaster Baseball Hall of Fame Pitcher and CIBA award winner Doug Lunney proving that the genes run in the family, his daughter Abby playing for Team Canada shows there is something in the drinking water in Newmarket. Check Abby out with the Nipissing Lakers.

McMaster Baseball Legend: Shane Toohey
McMaster Alumnus and former everything (Pitcher, Infielder, Outfielder and Administrator) Shane Toohey is enjoying a vibrant career in the medical device field, playing slo-pitch with family and living in Burlington, Ontario.

McMaster Baseball Legend: Geoffry Mariani
McMaster Hall of Fame Infielder, Outfielder and all around jack of all trades Geoffry Mariani is now coaching three sports and runs his own custom jewelry design company based in Toronto. He also is helping support his wife's Baking side hustle. Amazing courage to pivot and living the entrepreneurial dream as well as coaching with a three generational influence his youngest son.

McMaster Baseball Legend: Trevor Lawson
Former McMaster Shortstop and Alumnus Trevor Lawson is practicing employment law in Toronto while watching both of his sons blaze a path with baseball that leads to the Ontario Blue Jays and Florida.

McMaster Baseball Legend: Craig Cooper
McMaster Baseball Hall of Famer and Centre Fielder (Had to make that distinction) the Beast from the East, Craig Cooper is back home in the Halifax area raising a family and being recruited to play baseball every year or two.

A prime example of how parents and fans being involved in a program makes a difference. Roger Reeson tracked down this homerun ball hit by Craig Cooper in the 1997 National Championships and gave it to him to remind him what a great player he proved to be during the run to winning but also how little touches make for memories Craig still hangs on to today.

McMaster Baseball Legend: Mark Watson
McMaster Hall of Famer and former outfielder Mark Watson is currently teaching at the Courtice High School in the eastern GTA. He is raising a family and coaching a wide variety of sports, keeping the connection between sports and life vibrant. The Grafton Native spent time in Switzerland and is currently supporting his younger brother whop is battling cancer.

McMaster Baseball Coach Don Graves had and has all the support in the world from his wife, Pat Graves. Volunteer coaches really make sacrifices with family to do what they do and having a partner who is supportive makes a huge difference. #ThankyouPat

McMaster Hall of Fame infielder and Coaches award winner Jeff Akitt is involved with his hometown engineering firm, a proud father and still heavily involved in classic baseball as a coach and player.

McMaster Head Coach and legendary motivator of both the varsity and OUA administration, long time coach Don Graves is living the life on Canada's East Coast close to family and avoiding All Star Baseballs.
